Great food and Fabulous service

The food was decent but the tres leches cake was one of the best i have had.

No kidding this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. The owner is so nice and makes a point to come say hello. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have loved every dish. Do yourself a favor and try the Barbacoa enchiladas so so good. Fried icecream is an awesome dessert. The shrimp cocktail was amazing. The margaritas are strong and tasty. The sweet tea is amazing. Some of the best chips and salsa ever and everyone gets their own bowl. I have never had to wait for a table. The prices are cheap for the quality of the food and everything is made fresh to order.

The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The food is consistently great. The price is very reasonable compared to other restaurants. You will always receive fresh chips and salsa and food that is cooked to perfection. The Margaritas are not watered down as with other places. I love the Maria sisters and the rest of the friendly staff. There isn't much more you could ask for here. Wonderful establishment.

I love finding special local restaurants where you feel like family. Fast and friendly service from a staff that will take care of you. Loved the “Steve’s Plate” dish!! It’s 2 cheese enchiladas with your choice of fajita meat on top. The cheese enchilada dinner is just as tasty with its red meat sauce. Salsa and chips are wonderful and homemade. Yum yum yum!

I ordered a garlic shrimp dish that was suppose to come in a sauce but there’s no sauce. It is dry just overly cooked hard shrimp. There was no bed of rice just a spoon of rice and no retried beans that it was suppose to come with.

Quesadillas are to die for. I come here all the time just for them. All their food is really good, but nothing beats their quesadillas

This place is amazing. I love their fajitas. The staff is always very friendly and the service is incredible. I highly recommend San Marcos.

Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. They weren't overly crowded, several tables available, but were operating as if they were swamped. We had to wait on drink refills and our meal seemed to take forever. Salsa was tasty, but queso was bland. I ordered a shrimp dish that was nearly $15 and i got approximately 7 shrimp on a bed of rice with diced veggies on top and a salad on the side. I had asked for them to sub beans for the rice, but that request wasn't accomadated even after asking for just a side of beans. My boyfriend had the avocado stuffed with meat and cheese for approximately $12. After everything our bill was nearly $50 pre tip for 2 adults, no alcohol.

Great food, friendly staff, good portions, this is our favorite restaurant in the area. The fajitas are great, well-seasoned and perfectly grilled. The place is small but so welcoming. It feels like you are in a restaurant in Mexico. They have good desserts also. If you feel like having a snack or sweet treat, try their Mexican coffee with churros.

How did u enjoy your meal

I had the bacon flautas. Maybe there was a spice with which I am not familiar, but to me something about the flavor reminded me of hotdogs. The rice and beans tasted about as one would expect them to taste, and the guacamole was guacamole. I wasn't thrilled with the portion size. I was almost full when I finished eating. My husband enjoyed his fajitas. We'll probably end up eating there again.

Excellent service, very friendly. Great salsa and chips along with amazing enchaladas, rice and beans. Highly recommend the large Margarita with salt on the rocks! Lunch for two with drinks and tip $40!

My husband and i love this restaurant. Owner and staff are super nice, fajita salad is great with large chicken portion in the salad. Beer ritas are great..

Portions were large, prices reasonable, quick service, and even the leftovers the next day were great. What more do you want? (The "Big" Texas burrito was literally the size of my arm!)

My husband and I really liked our food and the service was great as well. The margaritas were really good, too. We will definitely be coming back.

Great staff and good food!

Me and my wife went for lunch, the food was really good. I had the shrimp rancheros and my wife had the fajita street tacos. The service was good and fast. Rice and beans had good flavor to them. Only complaint we had is my wife's fajita tasted a bit off like they didn't clean what they used to cook here fajita. It had the taste or flavor of the previous plate of food they cooked. Overall we will be going back for lunch or dinner.

Food was amazing as always, if you go try anything on the menu that has barbracoa. You will not be disappointed!

The staff and owners are so upbeat and friendly and they treat me and my husband like family. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. We love coming to eat here.

The food continues to be delicious. We have noticed a decline in service, but tonight was noticeably poor. Drinks went unrefilled, our waitress didn't make eye contact, so it was hard to grab her attention, and we waited a long time for the bill. Other staff refilled beverages and cleaned off plates, which was impressive. I like that sense of teamwork. Not sure what the issue was tonight, if it was just our server, or a communication problem with the kitchen. Hoping this was an issolated issue.

We love this place!:We've been going for years. This family that runs it are awesome people and they love our children. The food is very good as well as the service.

This was a pleasant experience. So dadd that, now that I've found it, it will be closing due to road construction. Hoping they find another place to reopen.

I enjoy the food here but it is not spectacular.Nice little local family owned restaurant that keeps you from having to drive too far for decent Mexican food.Service leaves a little too be desired but that seems to be how things go in most restaurants around here.

These folks go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food is fresh. Chips and hot sauce are terrific. Love the presentation. A wonderful dining experience. Don't forget the margaritas!!

San Marcos Grill has wonderful food at a fair price. The atmosphere is great for family gatherings. The service is also good.

This is one of my favorite places! The home made chicken tortias soul is excellent! The quasadia is huge and very good! Not sure there is anything there that is not good.
